Jakarta (ANTARA) - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) inaugurated the Pasar Rumput low-cost apartment block (Rusunawa), with 1,984 residential units and also equipped with an integrated area covering access to market and transportation services, here, Monday.

"This Pasar Rumput Rusunawa was built at a cost of Rp970 billion. It is special because it was built in line with the 'mixed-use development' concept,'" President Jokowi remarked during his inauguration speech at the Pasar Rumput apartment block.

According to Jokowi, the Pasar Rumput Rusunawa is special, as hundreds of stalls are built on the first and second floor of the towers and has complete social and public facilities for the residents.

Jokowi noted that the market, replete with social and public facilities, made it easy for residents to conduct economic activities, for instance, trading.
