Gojek partners inspirational stories in helping the community to survive and rise together through the pandemic

Jakarta (ANTARA) – The Gojek ecosystem contributes greatly to the national economy even in the midst of a pandemic. Research from the Demographic Institute of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Indonesia (LD FEB UI) estimates that Gojek's contribution will increase to around Rp. 249 trillion or 60% compared to 2019-2020.

This achievement certainly cannot be separated from the contribution of driver partners and MSME business partners with their various inspirational stories that became drivers during the pandemic as well as their initiative to provide assistance to the community so that they can survive together through the pandemic.

Various initiatives have also been carried out by Gojek to help partners survive in the midst of these difficult conditions. After previously providing support to its partners through social assistance, basic necessities vouchers, and support programs for MSME business partners such as the GoFood Partner Community (KOMPAG) and Arisan Mapan, Gojek also created the Gojek Champion Partner (Mitra Juara Gojek) Program to appreciate inspiring partners.

Gojek Champion Partner (Mitra Juara Gojek) is a Gojek appreciation program for all partners in its ecosystem. This time, Gojek brought up the stories of partners who in the midst of their daily activities constantly carry out various initiatives to help the community lighten the burden of the pandemic.

There are 5 inspiring stories from selected Gojek Champion Partners who will then be chosen to become Gojekers Choice Champion Partners.

The five inspirational stories that the public can choose from include:

Ubay from Pontianak, a provider of free oxygen cylinder refill services in the midst of a low stock crisis.

Charis from Jember, a hunger fighter who delivers food for thousands of isolating patients.

Reza from Bandung, who regularly educates MSMEs so that they can survive the pandemic.

Dara from Pandeglang, who takes on the role of health workers in the real world and on social media.

Janjang from Jakarta, a COVID-19 fake news fighter and vaccination promoter.
