As per the data, accessed by ANTARA, West Java contributed the most positive cases at 161, followed by Jakarta (111 cases), East Java (59 cases), Central Java (52 cases), and Yogyakarta (48 cases).
Meanwhile, the total positive COVID-19 cases in Indonesia has reached 4,246,802 since the novel coronavirus disease hit the country in March 2020.
The task force also recorded an increase in the COVID-19 mortality rate on Thursday, with the number of deaths nationwide increasing by 19, bringing the total tally to 143,500.
East Java reported the most deaths (6), followed by Central Java (3) and Bali (2).

However, the COVID-19 Task Force stated that the number of active cases in Indonesia continued to show a decline. The total number of active cases across the nation declined by 228 to reach 11,364, it said.
The COVID-19 Task Force also said that the number of recovered patients continued to increase, with 837 people making a full recovery, bringing the total number of recovered patients to 4,091,938.
Regions that reported the highest recoveries were Central Java (224), West Java (133), East Java (55), Jakarta (51), and Lampung (48).
Meanwhile, 249,240 specimens were examined at laboratories, with 7,083 people suspected of contracting COVID-19, the task force said. The positivity rate of daily specimens stood at 0.39 percent, it added.
