Thus, at the implementation of the racing event, NTB creative products can be sold with better quality.
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Tourism and Creative Economy Minister Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno provided three tips to creative economy actors to boost sales at the 2021 Appreciation of Indonesian Creation (AKI) event in Mataram, the capital of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Province.

Remarking that "cash is king", he asked creative economy actors to take the payment first, for instance, by choosing a pre-order sales system.

"The asset that we need to increase is our cash. We should not get too many inventories or product stock," he was quoted as saying in a statement that ANTARA received here on Friday.

Meanwhile, for selling goods, various marketing strategies could be implemented, for instance, through the use of resellers (people who purchase products to sell them again) and drop-shippers (sellers who market the products without keeping them in stock as they ship the goods directly to customers), he added.

Next, he said "content is queen" — the visual appearance of products should reflect their quality.

“Highlighting the features of our products is important since they have good strength, quality, and uniqueness. Earlier, I have visited 20 booths participated in 2021 AKI. They have amazing contents," the minister added.

Last, he said, "packaging is kingdom", which means that packaging is crucial for encouraging purchases.

Thus, if its products are not attractive, the business will not run optimally, he added.

Uno expressed the hope that the three tips would be implemented by the creative economy actors in NTB Province ahead of the implementation of 2021 World Superbike (WSBK) event on November 19-21, 2021 at the Pertamina Mandalika International Street Circuit.

"Thus, at the implementation of the racing event, NTB creative products can be sold with better quality," he remarked.
