In a written statement received here on Saturday, Suharyanto noted that the survey was conducted as a form of quick response mandated by the president, so that the BNPB will work even harder.
This is important, especially since most of Indonesia is experiencing the rainy season and the presence of La Nina phenomenon that could cause several hydrometeorological disasters, such as floods, landslides, and gale.
