The head of state and his entourage took off from the Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, here, aboard the Indonesia-1 Presidential Aircraft on Thursday at around 8 a.m. local time.
According to the Presidential Secretariat's press release, the facilities to be directly observed by President Jokowi comprise a mangrove conservation forest, road infrastructure, pedestrian bridges, and several locations in the Nusa Dua area, Bali.
President Jokowi is also scheduled to visit the Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park in Uluwatu, South Kuta, Badung District, in the evening.

The entourage of President Jokowi and First Lady Iriana comprises State Secretary Minister Pratikno, Head of the Presidential Secretariat Heru Budi Hartono, Military Secretary of the President Air Vice Marshal M. Tonny Harjono, Commander of the Presidential Security Force Major General Tri Budi Utomo, Deputy for Protocol, Press, and the Presidential Secretariat Media Bey Machmudin, and the Coordinator of the Presidential Special Staff Ari Dwipayana.
Indonesia will be the host of G20 from December 1, 2021, to November 30, 2022, after the presidency was earlier held by Italy.
G20 is a global forum comprising 19 countries and the European Union. The forum, established in 1999, constitutes 80 percent of the world's gross domestic product and contributes 75 percent of the global exports.
The G20 Presidency brings up the theme "Recover Together, Recover Stronger." Three topics will be discussed at the G20: World Health System; Economic and Digital Transformation; and Energy Transition.

The G20 Presidency Meetings 2022 comprise 150 events comprising working group meetings, engagement groups, deputies/sherpa, ministerial meetings, and G20 Summit, as well as side events.
Indonesia is expected to derive economic benefits from its G20 Presidency, especially through physical meetings. The benefits encompass an increase in domestic consumption of up to Rp1.7 trillion, an increase in the national GDP up to Rp7.4 trillion, and the involvement of MSMEs, as well as job openings in various sectors that would employ 33 thousand people.
