The ministry has prepared several aspects, including for building the JKP system, with one of them called Siap KerjaJakarta (ANTARA) - The Manpower Ministry has prepared a system called Siap Kerja (Ready to Work) to support beneficiaries of the Job Loss Insurance (JKP) Program, specifically through providing access to labor market information.
"," Secretary-General of the Ministry of Manpower Anwar Sanusi said during a discussion on job market access in JKP on Monday.
Sanusi said that the system will provide information to JKP beneficiaries regarding overviews of jobs.
The system is expected to facilitate JKP beneficiaries in finding jobs suited to them.

The Ministry of Manpower also has a work introduction or inter-work officer, who will function as a counselor for JKP beneficiaries that lost their jobs.
Sanusi remarked that apart from a technical point of view, the government had also readied regulations to start implementing the JKP program in February 2022.
Some of these regulations include Government Regulation (PP) Number 37 of 2021 on implementation of the Job Loss Insurance Program, which is a derivative of the Job Creation Act.
The PP already had derivative rules: Minister of Manpower Regulation Number 7 of 2021 on Procedures for Participants' Registration and Implementation of Contribution Recomposition in the JKP Program; Minister of Manpower Regulation Number 15 of 2021 on Procedures for Providing JKP Benefits; and Minister of Finance Regulation Number 148/ PMK.02/2021 on procedures for providing, disbursing, utilizing, and accountable for initial funds and accumulated contributions for the JKP program.

In 2022, as the first year of the JKP program's activation, Sanusi drew attention to several likely glitches while responding to potential issues.
"However, we will be ready to launch this program. By God's will, we will be able to implement this program," he stated.
The JKP program is part of the social security for laid off workers. They will receive cash benefits, access to labor market information, and the opportunity to participate in job training.
Minister of Manpower Regulation Number 15 of 2021 on Procedures for Providing JKP Benefits stipulates that cash benefits are paid monthly for a maximum of six months. In the first three months, participants receive 45 percent of their previous reported salary, while in the subsequent three months, they will receive 25 percent of their wages, with an upper limit of Rp5 million.
