The pre-employment card program becomes a role model for other government agencies because it uses a new platform to operate. Here, we see learning patterns involving strategic partners that work professionally
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The pre-employment card program can serve as an example for other government agencies in answering the challenges of digitalization and on the importance of involving strategic partners from the private sector.

Deputy secretary for public service at the Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Ministry Akik Dwi Suharto Rudolfus made the statement during a meeting on the "Acting Management of Pre-employment Card Program" here on Wednesday.

"The pre-employment card program becomes a role model for other government agencies because it uses a new platform to operate. Here, we see learning patterns involving strategic partners that work professionally," Rudolfus remarked.

According to the deputy secretary, involving strategic partners from the private sector can help solve resource limitations in the central and local government environments.

Furthermore, he said the use of online training platforms used in the pre-employment card program can be adopted by the state apparatus (ASN). This is because digital literacy is the main requirement for government agencies to improve their quality of services, he explained.

The orientation of service toward work is imminent, and that is already being demonstrated in the management of the pre-employment card program, he noted.

For example, the program's complaint handling system is extraordinary because it is equipped with real-time service level agreement and wallboard monitoring, he pointed out.

He also expressed the hope that the program would continue. "For that, collaborations are necessary to think about the program's sustainability, including the transfer of knowledge with other ministries and institutions," he stressed.

Meanwhile, director of operations for the program, Hengki Sihombing, said he hoped that Rudolfus and other officials in the ministry would continue the program to improve public services.
