Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Defense Ministry submitted several documents on strategic defense to the National Defense Forces (TNI) for further discussion during the 2022 leadership meeting of the ministry on Thursday.



"We have also just submitted several strategic documents to be discussed by each force. We hope (the documents) will be returned to us in the next month so that we can submit the documents to Mr. President," Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto said following the meeting.



The documents concern state defense doctrine, state defense strategy, and state defense posture, he informed.

"These documents will serve as a guide for implementing state defense by each force at TNI and police," he said.



"The development of force will surely go ahead to strengthen TNI," he said.

"Today, we submitted several locally-made devices to TNI, including armored vehicles produced by PT Pindad, such as Panser Anoa, Panser Badak, Komodo, besides devices for the Indonesian Air Force and patrol vessels for the Indonesian Navy," he added.



The submission of the documents on strategic defense is a part of efforts to revise the blueprint on state defense forces in order to brace for and anticipate all forms of threat, he informed.
