Jakarta (ANTARA) - Indonesia, through its Communication and Informatics Ministry, has built partnership with third parties at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2022 technology exhibition in Barcelona, Spain, to expand internet outreach in the country.

"To expand internet accessibility, the Communication and Informatics Ministry seeks every possible solution and option, such as building partnerships and collaborating with third parties,” Minister of Communication and Informatics Johnny G. Plate remarked in a press release here on Thursday.

Plate noted that the ministry was currently focused on providing access to communication, which is the key for Indonesia's economic development for the future.

To this end, Plate highlighted that 60 percent of Indonesia's economy is supported by small- and medium-scale businesses.
