This good condition encourages our enthusiasm at the deputy for micro-enterprises to be more active in achieving all the targets that have been set
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) has said that programs for strengthening micro-enterprises have run well this year.

"This good condition encourages our enthusiasm at the deputy for micro-enterprises to be more active in achieving all the targets that have been set," deputy for micro-enterprises at the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs, Eddy Satriya, remarked at a virtual press conference here on Friday.

Several programs have been implemented by the deputy for micro-enterprises for strengthening and developing the micro-business sector.

The programs include the Transformation of Micro Enterprises (Transfumi) from informal to formal by facilitating the issuance of Business Identification Numbers (NIB) through coordination with local governments and associations to achieve 1.2 million NIB nationally.

He said that his party has also helped micro-businesses promote their products at various events to support the implementation of the G20, such as the 2022 Mandalika MotoGP race in West Nusa Tenggara, the Proudly Made Indonesia National Movement (Gernas BBI) in Batam, Riau Islands, as well as the Global Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction (GPDRR) event in Bali.

Furthermore, 250 micro businesses have been provided technical guidance (Bimtek) on collaborating with the Government Goods/Services Procurement Policy Institute (LKPP) and several startup companies, namely Gojek, Grab, Shopee, and Blibli, for selling their products on several e-commerce platforms.

"Of the 250 micro-enterprises, there are around 70 percent of them available on the LKPP website," Satriya said.
