Depok (ANTARA) - The University of Indonesia (UI), as one of the centers of education and research in Indonesia, supports the holding of the G20 meeting by providing electric buses.

"This is one of (the forms of) our support by providing the UI Electric Bus as a means of transportation in organizing these activities," UI Head of Public Relations and Public Information Disclosure Amelita Lusia stated here on Friday.

Lusia noted that PT Mobil Anak Bangsa symbolically handed over the electric bus to UI, which then handed it over to the government to support the holding of the G20 meeting, an international economic cooperation forum that includes 19 countries and the European Union, and this year, Indonesia holds the G20 presidency.

Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi, UI Chancellor Prof. Ari Kuncoro, President Director of PT Mobil Anak Bangsa Kelik Irwantono, as well as officials from the Ministry of Industry, National Research and Innovation Agency, and Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology attended the delivery of the electric bus.
