Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture (PMK) has devised draft standards for four types of services to improve public services and support bureaucratic reform, the ministry's secretary, Satya Sananugraha, said.



This was done by referring to the Administrative and Bureaucratic Reforms (PANRB) Ministerial Regulation No. 35 of 2012 on service standard formulation, establishment, and implementation technical guideline, he informed.



During a focus group discussion on the ministry’s public service standards here on Thursday, he informed that the four services to be standardized would include the consultation and audience service and public service report.

In addition, the public data and information provision service as well as PMK issue resolution handling and assistance coordination meeting will also be standardized.



The focus group discussion was held at an advanced stage so that the ministry's draft standards could be discussed by the representatives of stakeholders together, he added.



The stakeholders, who included representatives from coordinating ministries, technical ministries, people's organizations, and mass media, discussed the draft standards together so that they could be ratified as the ministry's service standards.



This shows the ministry's high commitment to continued improvement in service quality for all the people in the country, Sananugraha opined.

The ministry's public service standard discussion activity will also help the ministry to realize better public service quality, he added.



Earlier, ad interim Administrative and Bureaucratic Reforms Minister, Mahfud MD, had noted that the implementation of public service malls (MPP) is a form of reformation for providing prime and integrated services to realize world-class public services.



During an event streamed on YouTube on Tuesday, he said that public service malls are expected to expedite business licensing within the country.
