"The traffic of animals and fresh animal products vulnerable to FMD is not being allowed from/to Bali administration areas due to the G20 implementation in Bali," a coordinator for the task force, Wiku Adisasmito, informed at an online press conference, accessed from here on Tuesday.
In addition, animals and fresh animal products from East Nusa Tenggara province are being allowed to exit the region, but the entry of livestock to the province has been banned, he said.
In South Sulawesi, the task force has prohibited the movement of animals and fresh animal products outside the province because there have been cases of FMD reported there. However, livestock and products are being allowed to enter the region, in accordance with the zoning provisions.
"Processed animal products are being allowed to go in and out the three regions," Adisasmito said.

Furthermore, biosecurity measures are being undertaken as part of efforts for controlling the FMD outbreak, he informed.
Biosecurity measures are being carried out to prevent any possible transmission, and they can be extended across other administrative regions so that the chain of disease can be minimized, he explained.
The effort, he said, is stipulated in Circular No. 4 of 2022 concerning traffic control of animals and animal products based on zonations, which was issued on Tuesday.
As per the circular, the task force will only allow the movement of animals and fresh animal products, such as carcasses, fresh meat, innards, and fresh milk from green zone districts/cities to yellow and red zone districts/cities, as well as yellow to red regions, Adisasmito added.
"To find out the zoning status, please visit the official website of BNPB (National Disaster Mitigation Agency)," he said.
