Human resource development includes the Indonesia Smart Card (program), scholarships, and training programs
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The government is preparing foundations for the youth so they can make big leaps in reaching the Advanced Indonesia 2045 goal, Head of the Presidential Staff Office (KSP) Moeldoko has said.

Those foundations include the development of quality human resources and the development of the healthcare system, he noted in a KSP press release.

"Human resource development includes the Indonesia Smart Card (program), scholarships, and training programs. Meanwhile, for health, we are currently focusing on reducing the stunting rate. These have all been prepared to realize an excellent generation," he said while delivering a speech on civic knowledge in front of new students of Semarang State University (Unnes), Semarang, Central Java, on Thursday.

Moeldoko also outlined the five big agendas of Advanced Indonesia that will be pursued by President Joko Widodo and Vice President Ma'ruf Amin’s administration.

The agendas are the downstreaming and industrialization of natural resources; optimization of clean energy sources and the green economy; provision of legal, social, political, and economic protection to the community; the upgradation of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs); and the development of the national capital of Nusantara (IKN).

"I need to convey this so that the campus and students understand the political issues of the government," he said.

He then emphasized the importance of the younger generation having a strong character since they will act as the generation of heirs, the generation that determines the future.

"The future is in your hand," he told the students.

According to the KSP head, the strength of a leader is in their character. The key to becoming a successful leader is developing the ability to adapt and find solutions to every problem.

"Moreover, currently, we are facing changes that are fast, full of risks, complex, and full of surprises. For that reason, leadership must be adaptive and able to meet the needs," he remarked.
