It means that we are at the top of global leadership and have a great opportunity to build international cooperation.
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Increasing international trust has become one of the capitals for developing Indonesia in addition to apt pandemic mitigation, abundant natural resources, and potential demographic bonuses, President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) stated here on Tuesday.

The president conveyed the statement at the 2022 Annual Session of the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) and joint session of the House of Representatives (DPR) and the Regional Representatives Council (DPD) at the Parliamentary Complex.

The head of state noted that the high level of international trust was apparent when Indonesia was accepted by Russia and Ukraine to serve as bridge for communication between the two countries.

The high level of trust placed by the international community is also reflected in the foreign investment for various national development projects, as the government continues to implement structural reforms to realize a competitive investment climate, he noted.

"Investment growth has also increased sharply, as currently, 52 percent (of the investment) is (for developing various projects) outside the Java region. It means that our economy is not only increasing rapidly but also growing evenly," he highlighted.
