Jakarta (ANTARA) - The echoes of the Indonesian G20 Presidency must continue to reverberate ahead of the summit of the forum, which comprises most of the world's largest economies, in November 2022, President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) has said.

"I ask for the echoes of the G20 Presidency to be raised again," Widodo said in his remarks at a plenary cabinet session on Tuesday, which was broadcast on the Presidential Secretariat’s Youtube channel and followed online from Jakarta on Wednesday.

He said he wants the splendor of the Indonesian G20 Presidency to be felt at home and abroad.

The G20 Summit, which will be attended by heads of state, will be the culmination of the entire series of Sherpa Track, Financial Track, and Engagement Group meetings.

Indonesia is focused on producing concrete cooperation programs or concrete deliverables from the G20 Presidency and summit, Minister of Foreign Affairs (Menlu), Retno Marsudi, said on Tuesday.

Concrete deliverables are projects that have been carried out by G20 member countries, either nationally, bilaterally, or multilaterally, which other countries can implement to solve common problems.

The G20 Summit will also produce an outcome document comprising 34 paragraphs agreed upon by member countries and regions. Marsudi said that the negotiations to formulate the outcome document are expected to be tough.

"Under normal conditions, G20 negotiations are never easy, especially in abnormal conditions," she added.

The G20 is a global forum consisting of 19 countries and the European Union region that work together to handle major issues. They account for 80 percent of the global gross domestic product (GDP), 75 percent of international trade, and 60 percent of the world's population.

After Indonesia, India will hold the G20 Presidency in 2023.

The Bali Police will use as many as 300 electric motorcycles for security purposes during the G20 Summit in Nusa Dua, Badung, Bali, on November 15–16, 2022.

"We receive 100 units (of electric motorcycles) support from the collaboration of Lazada and Smoot," Chief Inspector General Putu Jayan Danu Putra informed during the handover of the electric motorcycles from Lazada and Smoot here on Tuesday.

Putra said Bali Police received 200 electric motorcycles earlier. Thus, the total number of electric vehicles reached 300.
