Nusa Dua, Bali (ANTARA) - Chief of Presidential Staff Moeldoko has said that the Media Center of the G20 Summit has been well-prepared and able to facilitate journalists in reporting the G20 Summit smoothly.

“I've spoken with fellows from the editorial team. I have also seen the journalists' rooms, yes, everything is well prepared. It is in a 100 percent (condition)," he commented during his review of the Media Center of the G20 Summit, at the Bali International Convention Center, here on Sunday.

He said that preparations for the Media Center had been conducted for a long time. In every meeting opportunity, Moeldoko admitted that he always pushed for support for media coverage.

He said that with the support of the Media Center , all discussions in the G20 such as the Sherpa Track or the Finance Track would be recorded well by the reporters.

The Media Center has followed a standard of operation that covers the contents and every stakeholder of the media such as reporters, editors, and broadcasters, he said.

On a separate occasion, Communication and Informatics Minister Johnny G Plate urged for the officers to ensure that the Iinternet network used by the media crew is functioning optimally with no issues.

He made the appeal while reviewing the Media Center of the G20 Summit.

He reminded them to do their best so there would be no complaints from journalists about the Internet connection, so that journalists could work well in reporting the events leading up to G20 Summit.

Thousands of journalists from many media, both local and international, are participating in the G20 Summit. In addition to providing a booth for each registered media, the G20 Summit Committee also provides a journalist's room in the Bali International Convention Center, which is equipped with desks, computers, Internet, connection and electricity network support.

The 17th G20 Summit under the Indonesian Presidency is to take place in Nusa Dua, Bali Province, from Nov 15 to 16, 2022.
