From the plenary meeting which emphasized consultation to reach an agreement, (we) agreed on the Komnas HAM leadership structure for the 2022-2027 term, with myself being its chief,Jakarta (ANTARA) - The National Commission on Human Rights (Komnas HAM) has appointed Atnike Nova Sigiro as its chief for the 2022-2027 term during its plenary meeting.
"From the plenary meeting that emphasized consultation to reach an agreement, (we) agreed on the Komnas HAM leadership structure for the 2022-2027 term, with myself being its chief," she noted here on Monday.
The other newly appointed members of Komnas HAM are Deputy Chief for Internal Affairs Pramono Ubaid Tanthowi, Abdul Haris Semendawai as deputy chief for external affairs, and Uli Parulian Sihombing as coordinator for human rights upholding sub-commission.

The others are Hari Kurniawan as complaint service commissioner, Prabianto Mukti Wibowo as mediation commissioner, Uli Parulian Sihombing as monitoring and investigation commissioner, Uli Parulian Sihombing as supervision commissioner, and Anis Hidayah as coordinator of human rights promotion su-commission.
Meanwhile, Putu Elvina was appointed as education and counseling commissioner and Saurlin P. Siagian as study and research commissioner.

At the plenary meeting, the rights body also agreed on work priorities for the next six months, including handling gross human rights and human rights issue in Papua
The other work priorities are related to agrarian conflict, marginal groups comprising people with disabilities, migrant workers, customary community, and domestic helpers, protection of human rights defenders, freedom of religion and faith.
