"For that, it needs synergy starting from school education, family education, and community education; all must run well," the ministry's deputy for the coordination of education quality improvement and religious moderation Warsito said in a statement issued here on Monday.
Schools provide formal education and basic lessons, he noted. In addition, schools can provide education on expertise and impart skills to students.
Meanwhile, family education focuses on values, norms, models, and the character of children. Then, community education teaches about ways to socialize, customs, and norms that apply in the surrounding community.
Warsito stressed that synergy between school, family, and community education must be aligned and run well.
"Especially amid the digital era and digitalization of technology, which continues to develop, the synergy of school education, family education, and community education must be strengthened to protect children from the possibility of (exposure to) negative content," he explained.
Education has a significant role in preparing excellent and quality human resources in the country, he highlighted.
"The role of education is very significant and important to prepare Indonesia's human resources," he said.
He explained that currently, the government is continuing to optimize human resource development as a priority program to realize the 2045 Golden Indonesia vision.
Education must be utilized to meet the needs of human resources and realize human resources that are competitive at the national and global levels, Warsito added.
He further said that Indonesia has a large capital because, given the demographic dividend, citizens in the productive age are currently dominating the national population.
