The company officially collaborates with BKKBN through the Ready for Marriage Ready for Pregnancy Electronic Application (ELSIMIL) that is BKKBN's application, President Director of Kimia Farma Laboratorium & Klinik Ardhy Nugrahanto Wokas noted.
This application has to be filled by prospective brides and grooms, and they have to undergo examination first, so that the results can be uploaded into the system, he explained here, Tuesday.
Thus, Kimia Farma Laboratorium & Klinik will have its system connected with BKKBN's system to simplify the process and have the agency's data be automatically connected with the agency's existing system, he explained.
This will also make the data to be directly uploaded to the system and also certified.
Moreover, to reduce stunting, Kimia Farma Laboratorium & Klinik holds a special pre-wedding class to educate prospective couples.
"We are confident and believe that by conducting control measures in prospective couples, the effort to control stunting to reach the target of 14 percent can be achieved," Wokas remarked.
To support the government's effort in expediting stunting reduction from the upstream, the company also signed a cooperation agreement with BKKBN. This cooperation will facilitate the people's access to receive service.
Earlier, Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Muhadjir Effendy called to have the Stunting Prevalence Figure Reduction Acceleration Program be a national movement among members of the public.
He said that the participation of all parties is important, so that the stunting reduction acceleration program can make its place in the hearts and minds of members of the society.
Vigilance against stunting should also be improved since data from the World Bank in 2019 indicated that 54 percent of Indonesia's productive workforce are children, who suffered from stunting.
