This was said by PT Pos Indonesia's Director of Courier and Logistics Business Siti Choiriana during an audience with the Sakuranesia Society in Jakarta on Thursday.
She said that Oranger Mawar is a female courier program that empowers women beyond their educational background, experience, and social status.
Members of Oranger Mawar can find an additional source of income with only a motorcycle license (SIM C), she added.
Ana stated that Pos Indonesia had expanded its network to 228 countries in the world, and while Oranger Mawar was only in Indonesia, her side did not rule out the possibility of establishing cooperation with other foreign partners.
"We also want to convey what Pos Indonesia is currently showing to the public and the world. We are very concerned about conducting various kinds of collaborations with women," she remarked.
She said the widening of cooperation in terms of empowering women is based on the fact that most MSMEs in Indonesia are dominated by women.
Hence, it is hoped that cooperation with other parties, such as the Sakuranesia Society, can reach women to lead a better life.
"Hopefully, this friendship will continue to be better and bring good welfare to women in Indonesia and Japan," said
Ana, representing Pos Indonesia, will head to Japan on Sunday, April 2, for a week to meet with Japan Pos to provide an overview of the sound cooperation between Indonesia and Japan in all posts in Indonesia.
At a meeting with several representatives of the Sakuranesia Society, she invited them to build strength for women living in Indonesia or Japan to awaken the potential and progress of womankind, who can bring prosperity in the future.
"We are grateful, and hopefully, what we are doing can become a reference for other women and provide an overview of how we can collaborate not only in Indonesia but also awaken the potential to reach other areas to bring prosperity for women in the future," she remarked.
