"I thank you because Mas Nadiem (the Minister of Education) is here today at the office of the Ministry of PAN-RB along with the team to streamline the execution of SPBE. I am pleased with the extraordinary energy from the minister to accelerate achieving common targets," Minister of PAN-RB Abdullah Azwar Anas stated as quoted from a press release received in Jakarta on Thursday.
Anas made this statement during a discussion on ways to streamline and accelerate the implementation of SPBE with Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology Nadiem Makarim at the office of the Ministry of PAN-RB in Jakarta on Wednesday (April 5).
As mandated by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi), the Ministry of PAN-RB is tasked with realizing easy and concise digital services through SPBE. The effort to accelerate the implementation of SPBE has also received full support from the Ministry of Education and Culture.
On the occasion, Anas also highlighted various instruments and policies being prepared by his institution to accelerate the implementation of SPBE nationally.
He emphasized the importance of immediately following up on ways to accelerate the nationwide implementation of SPBE, as digitalization of bureaucracy and government administration has the ability to boost the quality of government digital services to the public. In the end, this will have an impact on increasing community satisfaction.
The Ministry of PAN-RB also continues to intensify the application of SPBE for public services through the Digital Public Service Mall (MPP). MPP Digital becomes a place for integrating various types of services in the palm of your hand.
Anas also noted that the implementation of SPBE hinges on collaboration and synergy from various parties, starting from the internal government, the private sector, to the community as users of government services.
"This requires strong, collective leadership. It cannot be done alone. Hopefully, this will work soon and at the same time become a strong determination for all of us to realize SPBE," he stated.
Meanwhile, Makarim highlighted that for the past three years, digitization of the education system had been conducted in depth in Indonesia.
In line with President Jokowi's directives, the education and culture minister supports all government systems to conduct digitalization that is efficient and beneficial for society.
"Hence, we are here to discuss various issues on how to improve and expand the digitalization process, so that public services can be much better," he remarked.
