"Don't let our hard work go to vain just because we do not have a strategy to anticipate problems on the field," he said while leading a coordination meeting on the readiness of the Eid al-Fitr exodus here on Tuesday.
He urged stakeholders to pay attention to the availability of fuel on toll roads in case of traffic congestion, the emergence of street markets, and prevent long queues at gas stations and toll road rest areas.
Moeldoko expressed optimism that this year's Eid exodus and return flow will have better services and facilities.
He said he expected a better Eid holiday season because all ministries/non-ministerial institutions, business entities, and technical implementation units have prepared for the Eid flow season.
"The improvement of Eid services is always oriented towards the previous evaluation, which makes our performance better," Moeldoko said.
The KSP chief informed that each ministry/non-ministerial institution and business entity has mobilized all of its resources to help ensure that the Eid exodus and return flow run optimally.
These efforts have covered the improvement of infrastructure and transportation, the provision of fuel and electricity supplies, and security readiness.
"For example, to serve travelers who use electric cars, some 616 electric vehicle charging stations (SPKLUs) have been prepared at 12 points. I asked for its information and the whereabouts to be shared with the public," he said.
Furthermore, he lauded the performance of the stakeholders in preparing the Eid exodus flow.
"I hope that there is collaboration and harmonization from all implementers so that the people can really feel that the government has worked to realize a safe and comfortable homecoming trip," Moeldoko said.
