As the only ASEAN country that became the official partner country, Indonesia showcases 157 co-exhibitors from various fields in accordance with the theme of Hannover Messe 2023.
Indonesia has brought 157 co-exhibitors from the private sector, state-owned enterprises (SOEs), industrial parks, and special economic zones to encourage the implementation of Making Indonesia 4.0, he explained.
The Nusantara State Capital (IKN) joins the Hannover Messe 2023 as one of the fair's participants showcased at the Indonesia Pavilion.
IKN Authority's Secretary, Achmad Jaka Santos Adiwijaya, in his statement, said that IKN showcases the three aspects -- green economy, sustainable economy, and automatic mobility -- at the Hannover Messe 2023.
The IKN Authority showcases the area around the national axis wherein its physical construction must be completed by 2024, so as to enter the first phase, including the relocation from the state capital in 2024, he explained.
For the relocation, President Joko Widodo has already planned to conduct the ceremony at the National Plaza area, he remarked.
He expects that IKN's participation in Hannover Messe 2023 can increase the interest of technological industry players to invest and cooperate in developing IKN.
Various vendors across the world are also expected to be able to cooperate with technology vendors from Indonesia that participate in Hannover Messe, Adiwijaya remarked.
Meanwhile, Director of PT Akebono Brake Astra Indonesia Daniel Suryananta expects that his company's involvement in the Indonesia Pavilion can help introduce the company's products in the vehicle component industry.
Moreover, he seeks to showcase that the industry ecosystem in Indonesia is already well-formed.
"Indonesia is not just a location for our factory but there are also great people, who work to create something very spectacular to follow the current technological trend," Suryananta stated.
Through Hannover Messe 2023, he also uses the occasion to see and learn about the latest industrial technology developments from other participating countries.
"This is done, so that we can determine what can be used or effective technology that we can bring to Indonesia to improve the productivity of our company," he explained.
Hannover Messe 2023 is the biggest industry fair in Europe that features various technologies and innovations in the industry sector from around the world.
