Jakarta (ANTARA) - Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning Hadi Tjahjanto has said that his ministry will play a role in realizing the Golden Indonesia vision by 2045 by bringing more investors to the country.

In a written statement received here on Wednesday, the minister observed that the goals for realizing Golden Indonesia and becoming the fourth-largest economic power in the world can be achieved with support from all sectors in the country, including the ministry, in preparing spatial planning.

"One of the efforts carried out by our side to achieve the goals is to bring more investors to invest in Indonesia," Tjahjanto, who is also head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN), added.

He informed that as an effort to increase investment value, his ministry is accelerating the preparation of 2 thousand detailed spatial plans (RDTR) that require support from 514 districts/cities throughout the country.

"Investment will also open more job opportunities and increase economic value. Apart from that, land values will also increase. We are working on this," he added.

Regarding the progress of land registration in Indonesia, the minister informed that the government has continued to accelerate asset legalization through the Complete Systematic Land Registration (PTSL) program.

"The target is that by 2025, we will register 126 million plots of land, of which 101 million have been realized," Tjahjanto noted.

According to him, the PTSL program can improve the economic situation in the country. He also said that the land that has been registered will have a high value that can be used as capital for access to formal financial institutions.

"What we have monitored since 2017 until now, the economic value added is Rp5,219 trillion. It has been circulating in society. This means that economic growth is very fast. This is a potential that we will continue to develop," he informed.

Moreover, to realize a Golden Indonesia by 2045, qualified human resources and the management of natural resources are also needed, he said.

"Our resources have the potential to meet world needs, one of the keys to making this happen is human resources," he said.
