Hannover, Germany (ANTARA) - Indonesia's participation at the 2023 Hannover Messe has opened opportunities for industrial human resource (HR) development cooperation in the country, according to head of the Industrial Human Resources Development Agency (BPSDMI) of the Industry Ministry Masrokhan.

"The cooperation that can be followed up includes the development of industrial HR related to Industry 4.0 through capacity-building programs," he added in Hannover, Germany, on Wednesday.

The cooperation might also include the provision of mock-ups of machines and multimedia equipment worth up to 700 thousand euros that can be placed in the exhibition center area at Indonesia's Industry 4.0 Digital Center (PIDI 4.0) along with the technology transfer programs, he said.

The cooperation that can be followed up also includes the utilization of machine and multimedia equipment mock-ups; development of education, training curricula, and training programs; and the organization of capacity building programs, including visits and exchange of materials, experts, learning modules, curricula, technology, and technical personnel.

"BPSDMI is ready to support the acceleration of technology 4.0 transformation and the preparation of the HR through PIDI 4.0 after Hannover Messe with joint agreements and programs, in accordance with the Making Indonesia 4.0 road map," Masrokhan remarked.

The BPSDMI is showcasing PIDI 4.0 and the preparation of industrial HR at the 2023 Hannover Messe trade fair, which is running from April 17–21.

The trade fair has had a positive impact on the improvement of investment in Indonesia.

At the event, several cooperation agreements will be signed by the government and business players.

Hannover Messe can be used to introduce the strength of Indonesia's industrial technology and encourage the connectivity of Indonesia's industries with global supply chain networks.

This is so that Indonesia is not only seen as a country that has the potential for world market power but also has significance and an essential role in supporting the development of industrial technology and its supporting factors.

Indonesia is targeting four main agendas in its participation at this year's Hannover Messe: First, introducing Indonesia's vision in the Making Indonesia 4.0 road map; second, promoting industrial cooperation; and third, promoting investment and exports.

The fourth agenda is improving bilateral cooperation with Germany and entering the global supply chain networks.
