"I think there is no problem in these two days of the Eid celebration. It was also smooth on Friday (April 21) and Saturday is also smooth mostly," Kamil stated after joining the Eid prayer at the Al Jabbar Mosque here on Saturday.
According to Kamil, the Eid celebration activities conducted by the community on Friday and Saturday took place without any significant problems.
As is known, some people have celebrated Eid al-Fitr on Friday (April 21), as the date was determined by Muhammadiyah, one of the biggest Islamic organizations in Indonesia.
Kamil also noted that the exodus flow on the day before Eid (D-1) until Saturday went smoothly. To this end, he thanked on-field officers, who worked during the holidays to ensure smooth traffic.
"Hopefully, their duties will become blessings that become a prayer," he stated.
Despite the safe condition and smooth traffic, the governor said that his side and the police have started to anticipate people’s movement to several tourist attractions and the upcoming return flow.

The governor predicted that traffic flow to several tourism sites will begin this afternoon.
"The important thing is to maintain order. You can contact the police in case of any incidents,” Kamil remarked.
He noted that this holiday is possible because the COVID-19 conditions have improved.
Meanwhile, West Java Police Chief, Inspector General Akhmad Wiyagus, assessed that there were no major disruptions, and the traffic flow was smooth since D-7 of Eid.
His side also forecast that the return flow will peak on April 25-26.
"We have established 328 posts, consisting of integrated posts, security posts, and service posts, and there are 27 thousand personnel. Do not hesitate to rest at the posts,” Wiyagus stated.
