Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Greater Jakarta Regional Police held a tactical wall game at Taman Impian Jaya Ancol here on Friday as part of preparations for securing the implementation of Formula E 2023 Jakarta E-Prix.

"Today (on Friday), we conveyed (the tactical wall game) to the personnel who will be deployed to secure (the electric car racing event),” Chief of North Jakarta Resort Police Senior Commissioner Gidion Arif Setyawan said.

A joint team of 215 personnel, including police, military, Public Order Security Agency (Satpol PP), and Transportation Office officers, will be deployed to secure the event, which is scheduled to take place on June 3–4, 2023, at Jakarta International E-Prix Circuit (JIEC).

Setyawan said that the personnel received instructions regarding their posts and tasks during the tactical wall game, which was led by head of the operational bureau of the Greater Jakarta Regional Police, Senior Commissioner Marsudianto.

The joint security officers will mainly be stationed at three locations—Hailai Ancol, Jakarta International Stadium (JIS), and Jakarta International Expo Kemayoran (JIEXPO), the North Jakarta Resort Police chief added.

If there is a traffic jam on Lodan Raya Street and R E Martadinata Street, the Transportation Office personnel will divert the traffic, especially large goods vehicles coming from Pluit area, North Jakarta.

The vehicles will be directed to enter the Gedong Panjang 2 Toll Gate and exit at the Kebon Bawang Toll Gate.

Furthermore, Formula E spectators who have Premier Suite tickets will be asked to park their vehicles at the Coasta Villa housing complex, Bukit Golf Raya Street, and Kobexindo Field.

The owners of Royal Suite 1A tickets will be directed to park their vehicles at JIS.

Parking lots for the holders of Deluxe Suite 1B tickets and Corporate Suite tickets would be provided at Hailai Ancol.

In addition, spectators who have VIP tickets, Grandstand 2A-21 tickets, and Festival Circuit tickets will be directed to park at JIEXPO.

Meanwhile, if spectators choose to park their vehicles in the Ancol area, they could use the parking lots of the Symphony of the Sea.

The Jakarta Transportation Office said that it would provide shuttle buses to ferry Formula E spectators between the parking lots and the racing venue.
