According to Musa'ad, the success in maintaining a conducive situation also served as proof that all elements of society in Southwest Papua support the government's plans and efforts to encourage development in the province.

Earlier, Sorong Military Commander, Brigadier General Juniras Lumbantoruan, affirmed that the Vice President's visit to Southwest Papua would go smoothly.
"I can guarantee that the VP's visit to the province from July 15–17 will go smoothly," he said in Sorong on July 13 after leading an assembly of security troops tasked with ensuring security during Amin's visit.
On that occasion, Lumbantoruan informed that TNI and Polri would station thousands of joint troops at all locations that would be visited by the Vice President.
According to Law Number 34 of 2004 of the Indonesian Defense Forces, TNI is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the President, Vice President, and their families.
Commander Lumbantoruan said he hoped that all elements of society in Southwest Papua, including religious, community, and youth figures, would maintain synergy to preserve the conducive and orderly situation.
