"We have these strategic policies to strengthen the transformation of the Tourism Authority Agencies (BOPs)," Anas noted here on Friday.
The policies include the institutional transformation of the three Tourism Authority Bodies and the optimization of collective leave in 2023.
The policies implemented by the Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Ministry also comprise tourism development through the simplification of business processes and optimization of digital utilization and strengthening of the government's spending on domestic and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) products.
According to Anas, the ministry is seeking to revise the presidential regulation on BOPs.
His side is also evaluating the status of Public Service Agencies (BLUs) of the Lake Toba Authority Implementing Agency and the Borobudur Authority Implementing Agency.
In the implementation of the second policy, an agile work system is conducted to utilize digital technology and integrate ICT services.
Meanwhile, the government's spending on domestic products (PDN) has been the indicator of the thematic bureaucratic reformation.
Government agencies, including those at the district and city level, will have a good Bureaucratic Reform Index if they have high spending on domestic products in their regional budget (APBD).
"Through this effort, the realization value of PDN has reached Rp430.66 trillion (US$28.6 billion). This exceeds the target in Presidential Instruction No. 2 of 2022, which is Rp400 trillion," Anas explained.
On the same occasion, Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan urged all parties, encompassing ministries, institutions, and local governments, to work together to make the super-priority tourism destinations' (DPSP's) development and BBWI program successful.
The BBWI program aims to increase public interest in traveling domestically by offering several attractive tour packages.
