"I have contacted the Secretary General of the PUPR Ministry. There is good news. PUPR Minister Basuki Hadimuljono, with the approval of President Joko Widodo, will provide a house bonus for those who get a medal," Effendy noted in an official statement from the National Paralympic Committee (NPC) of Indonesia on Saturday.
He noted that the awarding of houses is not based on the number of medals that each athlete won.
"All athletes who won a medal will get a bonus in the form of a house, which is adjusted to their domicile," he remarked.
In addition, he stated that the Ministry of Youth and Sports was still calculating the other bonuses.

"I have not received information regarding the value (of the bonus). However, Inshallah (God willing), we will try to provide a bonus. Later, after returning from Hangzhou, I will immediately organize together with the minister of youth and sports for the bonus for athletes, especially medal winners," he remarked.
He further noted that the forms of other bonus to be given to medal-winning athletes at the 2022 Asian Para Games had yet to be confirmed.
The Indonesian contingent is targeting to finish in the top 10 at the 2022 Asian Para Games.
Indonesia is competing in 12 sports in Hangzhou: athletics, swimming, weightlifting, badminton, cycling, shooting, judo, boccia, chess, lawn bowls, archery, and table tennis.
As of Saturday, the Indonesian contingent ranked 7th in the standings, with 26 gold, 24 silver, and 32 bronze medals.
