"I want to reiterate that the ASN, TNI, and Polri, including BIN, must be neutral and protect people's sovereignty," Jokowi noted in a press statement after inaugurating two sections of the Trans-Sumatra Toll Road in Batubara Sub-District, North Sumatra, as witnessed via video broadcast here on Wednesday.
Jokowi also urged the ranks of the General Elections Commission (KPU) and the General Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu), both at the central and regional levels, to act professionally and maintain the integrity of the election.
"KPU, Bawaslu, and all levels in the regions must also be professional and ensure the integrity of the election, so that the voice of the people is truly sovereign," Jokowi affirmed.

"We must all maintain peaceful, honest, and fair elections, as well as respect the election results, and unite again to develop Indonesia," he emphasized.
One week before the voting on February 14, 2024, Jokowi appealed to all Indonesian people to come to the voting stations (TPS) and exercise their right to vote.
The KPU has named three participants in the 2024 Presidential Election: candidate pair number 1 Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar, number 2 being Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka, and number 3, Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD.
The 2024 Presidential Election campaign period runs from November 28, 2023, to February 10, 2024, while the voting is scheduled on February 14, 2024.
