Jakarta (ANTARA) - Presidential and vice presidential pair Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka garnered the highest votes at Polling Station No. 10 in Gambir, Central Jakarta, where President Joko Widodo and First Lady Iriana cast their vote.

The final vote tally at Polling Station No. 10 showed that the Prabowo-Gibran pair received 37 votes, while the pair of Anies Baswedan and Muhaimin Iskandar won 29 votes, and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD pair secured 20 votes.

"There are 86 valid votes and one invalid vote," Hamdy Basjar, the head of Polling Station No. 10 organizing committee, stated while announcing the tally on Wednesday.

Basjar noted that 133 voters, comprising 120 voters on the final voter's list (DPT) and 11 voters on the additional voters' list (DPTb), were registered at Polling Station No. 10.

However, only 76 voters in the DPT as well as 11 voters in the DPTb cast their vote there.

The polling station committee head also said that the only invalid vote was because two presidential candidates were marked.

The tabulation of presidential votes at Gambir's Polling Station No. 10 began at 2:20 p.m. local time (UTC +7) and concluded at 3:06 p.m. local time. The tabulation is followed by the counting of legislative votes.

More than 204 million Indonesian voters cast their ballot on February 14 to elect the president and vice president, members of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI), Regional Representatives Council (DPD), and regional legislatures (DPRD) at the provincial, city, and district levels.

The three candidate pairs vying for the national leadership in this year's election are Anies Baswedan and Muhaimin Iskandar as candidate number one; Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka as candidate number two; and Ganjar Pranowo and Mahfud MD as candidate number three.

According to KPU Regulation No. 3 of 2022, the nationwide vote recapitulation for the 2024 Election is scheduled to take place from February 15 to March 20, 2024.
