Penajam Paser Utara (ANTARA) - The Nusantara Capital Authority (OIKN) is committed to providing the best health facilities in Nusantara City (IKN), Indonesia's future capital city being built in the districts of North Penajam Paser and Kutai Kartanegara, East Kalimantan.

"We are committed to providing the best health facilities in Nusantara City," Head of OIKN Bambang Susantono stated in Penajam, Friday.

Susantono remarked that residents in Nusantara City are guaranteed to be able to access adequate health care facilities as a step in helping to achieve a healthy and sustainable environment.

The progressive steps taken by OIKN include a commitment to creating a friendly, safe, and comfortable environment for everyone in Nusantara City.

Preparation of health services also requires collaboration with the North Penajam Paser local government as the area where Nusantara City is built as well as coordinating with the Sepaku Health Services and the Sepaku Regional Hospital.

Susantono explained that the availability of medical equipment and hospital building standards should also be considered, especially in revitalization of the Regional Hospital and Community Health Center in Sepaku that carries the concept of "smart and green building."

Improving the quality of health services in the area around Nusantara City requires activities to increase human resources by stepping up the number of medical personnel.

"Public health is the main priority in building Indonesia's new capital city," he remarked.

The OIKN ensures that health facilities not only meet the appropriateness standards but also provide optimal health services for the surrounding community and people living in Nusantara City.

The OIKN has conducted evaluations at several health facilities in Sepaku Sub-district, including the Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) Semoi II Health Center, Sepaku I Health Center, and Sepaku III Health Center.

The evacuation of several health facilities is a step to ensure the welfare of local residents and take proactive steps to prepare quality health facilities, Susantono stated.
