"We have determined everything. There are only a few more left, and hopefully, if not tonight, we will finish it tomorrow afternoon," KPU member Idham Holik said at the KPU building here on Sunday.
He explained that the overseas vote recapitulation reached 90 percent until Sunday afternoon.
"The overseas vote recapitulation process carried out by KPU, thank God, went smoothly. As of this afternoon, more than 90 percent of the Overseas Election Committees (PPLN) have completed the reading of the Model D form," he said.
Meanwhile, he acknowledged the dynamics in the implementation of voting, vote counting, and vote recapitulation of the election outside Indonesia.
"But in general, they can be resolved, and currently more than 90 percent (of PPLN) have read the Model D form," he said.
On Wednesday (February 28), the KPU began the national recapitulation process for overseas votes with PPLN in Athens, Greece, as the first to read out the vote results.
The 2024 General Election includes the presidential and vice presidential elections, the legislative election for the House of Representatives (DPR) and the Regional Representative Council (DPD) members, and members of district and city legislative councils.
KPU determined 204,807,222 voters in the permanent voter list (DPT).
The Foreign Ministry also affirmed that voting for the 2024 general elections at polling stations abroad proceeded smoothly.
According to the KPU's regulation, the national vote recapitulation started on February 15 and will conclude on March 20, 2024.
