Iriana and Wury attended the event, along with spouses of the ministers of the Onward Indonesia Cabinet, including Annisa Pohan, the wife of Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono.
On the occasion, the first lady and the entourage planted chili seeds to mark the commencement of the National Chili-Planting Movement that involves members of Family Welfare Empowerment Mobilization Teams (TP-PKK) across the country.
Iriana thereafter took part in the distribution of aid in the form of one thousand packages of basic necessities, three wheelchairs, population documents, and 500 recipe books of high-protein snacks.
She also participated in the stocking of 50 thousand fish seeds in Lake Citata before reviewing food trucks, technology and information cars, and the planting of seven seeds of avocado trees.

Furthermore, Iriana and Wury concluded the activities by conducting first-hand inspection of the holding of a cheap-food movement and Increasing Family Income Program and visiting several education stalls at the location.
Attending the activities, Acting Head of Bogor District TP PKK Siti Chomzah explained that the National Chili-Planting Movement aims to encourage a broader population to start partaking in cultivating the crop.
She highlighted that in Indonesia, chili has been one of the commodities whose prices are closely related to the rate of inflation every year.
"Bogor District hosted the launching of the National Chili-Planting Movement while commemorating the 52nd PKK's United Movement Day," she pointed out.
