"We display some examples of work from our domestic producers that can be used at IKN," the ministry's secretary general, Eko Cahyanto, stated in Denpasar on Monday.
He remarked that this facilitation is an effort to encourage central government spending, both ministries and agencies, regional governments, and state-owned enterprises (SOEs), to be allocated for substituting imported products with domestic products.
Some logistics are also required for infrastructure development carried out at IKN, including for meeting the needs for ministerial structures and SOEs located at IKN, Cahyanto pointed out.
Therefore, the ministry showcased several domestic products, including construction necessities, such as cement, iron and steel, ceramics, office equipment, and medical equipment.
This special exhibition for meeting IKN needs was carried out during a business matching event between budget owners and producers at The Meru convention building, Sanur.

The IKN booth is one of the 182 booths from 18 industrial clusters taking part in the exhibition, with products already certified with Domestic Component Level (TKDN), Cahyanto remarked.
The ministry also reminded the exhibition participants to ensure that their product specifications, prices, availability, production capacity, and product manufacturing are adjusted to the needs of the budget owners, i.e., the government and SOEs.
Earlier, President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) had also reviewed the construction of IKN in East Kalimantan on March 1 during which the progress in construction was recorded at 74 percent.
The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) is targeting the Presidential Office at IKN to be completed by June 2024 and can be used to celebrate Indonesia's Independence Day on August 17.
Moreover, several agencies, including SOEs, have started building their office building in IKN.
