Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) continues collaboration with the World Bank in the field of digital transformation.

Deputy Minister/Deputy Head of ATR/BPN Raja Juli Antoni urged the Directorate General to immediately provide concepts and data to support the implementation of the program with the World Bank in 2024.

"Even though this is the last project, I hope it can show the seriousness of how this program can run effectively and efficiently to become a strong foundation for our cooperation in the next five years or even 10 years," Antoni stated in Jakarta, Thursday.

Owing to the close collaboration, several programs, such as Systematic Land Registration with Complete Community Participation (PTSL-PM), Pilot Project for Land Distribution from Relinquishment of Forest Areas, Land Documents Digitization, and Archives Building Renovation, have been implemented successfully.

"Thank you for the good, close, productive, and consumptive cooperation," Antoni remarked.

Meanwhile, Secretary General of the Ministry of ATR/BPN, Suyus Windayana, also lauded the World Bank for its role in accelerating strategic programs, especially digitalization.

"The World Bank really supports digital transformation activities at the Ministry of ATR/BPN on how to manage digital data better," Windayana stated.

"Apart from that, a lot of the World Bank's budget is also used to improve the quality of our human resources," he highlighted.

World Bank Land Administration Specialist, Dong Kyu Kwak, commended the collaboration with the Ministry of ATR/BPN.

He said, judging from the ongoing projects, the use of technology, which is currently being developed, is one of the elements that makes the ministry's program a success.

"With this collaboration, the Ministry of ATR/BPN and the World Bank can efficiently carry out all activities,” Kwak stated.

"The work of the World Bank Team has become very easy because of the many dashboards and all the information systems that are very useful for managing the progress of this project," he remarked.
