"This activity can increase the turnover of those running MSMEs," he remarked during the launch of the event at his ministry's office, Jakarta, on Monday.
Masduki is upbeat that the KUMKM Ramadan Fair would assist people, including employees at his ministry, local office employees, and local residents, in obtaining their needs for Ramadan at lower prices.
"Hopefully, this Ramadan Fair can also provide convenience to employees of the Ministry as well as those working at offices nearby the ministry to acquire Ramadan needs at cheaper prices," he remarked.
The minister praised the holding of the fair, as it displays a range of products offered by business actors running cooperatives and MSMEs.
Masduki stated that Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr serve as a good momentum for cooperative and MSME players to produce innovative items needed by the public every year.

During Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr, the people's needs and consumption tended to spike, thereby providing opportunities for MSMEs to step up their sales, he added.
He highlighted that the government is organizing the KUMKM Ramadan Fair to support the development of MSMEs, as one of the pillars of the national economy.
Masduki then invited people to attend the fair and purchase and use MSMEs' products to demonstrate their love for Indonesian products.
Meanwhile, Secretary of the Ministry Arif Rahman Hakim noted that the KUMKM Ramadan is an annual event held to enable people to obtain quality goods at more affordable prices during Ramadan.
"This fair displays goods needed during Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr," he stated.
During the opening of the fair, the Ministry also handed over aid to its employees and the poor.
