"We expect the services of more tenants, ministries, and government agencies to recover (from the cyberattack). We expect 18 tenants to recover by this month's end," Director General of Information and Public Communication of the Ministry of Communication and Informatics, Usman Kansong, stated here on Wednesday (June 26).
The official's remarks were made as a follow-up to reports of five institutions whose digital public services recovered following the cyberattack that affected digital services nationwide for almost a week.
The five government institutions reporting the recovery of digital services were the Coordinating Ministry of Maritime and Investment Affairs, Religious Affairs Ministry, Directorate General of Immigration, National Public Procurement Agency (LKPP), and East Java's Kediri municipal authority.
