"We only have a (permanent) musala at the IKN construction workers' barracks, and we prepared temporary ones in the accommodation areas," he said here on Friday.
He added that no mosque has been built yet at IKN Nusantara.
According to Hadimuljono, the civil servant (ASN) flats, Hotel Nusantara, and some ministerial buildings will be used to accommodate guests attending the Independence Day celebration.
Meanwhile, a number of infrastructures, such as the State Palace, Garuda Palace, and the coordinating ministry buildings are ready to be used for the ceremony on August 17, 2024.
The State Palace area, the Ceremonial Square, and the podium have also been prepared for the ceremony.
The first renungan suci, or a moment of remembrance for national heroes, will be held at the Kusuma Bangsa Park in the Nusantara Terrace on August 16 evening.
