"We are supporting all processes in PON. Kominfo provides its support through the media center and communication infrastructure lines," said Nezar Patria, Deputy Minister of Kominfo, on Tuesday.
He noted that the facilities provided by the ministry will assist in the distribution of information during the implementation of PON.
Patria also lauded the preparations made by the Aceh provincial government as one of the PON hosts this year, with some areas ready to welcome guests.
PON participants will start arriving on August 23, he said.
In the 21st PON, some 33 sports will be contested in Aceh and another 34 in North Sumatra.
