Bali (ANTARA) - Indonesia reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening cooperation and solidarity with African nations at the gala dinner of the 2nd Indonesia-Africa Forum (IAF) and the High-Level Forum for Multi-Stakeholder Partnership (HLF MSP) in Bali.



“Indonesia is committed to strengthening cooperation and solidarity with countries in the African region,” President Joko Widodo stated on Sunday.



He expressed confidence that these forums would contribute to inclusive and sustainable global development.



The 2nd IAF is themed 'Bandung Spirit for Africa's Agenda 2063,' while the HLF MSP 2024 focuses on 'Strengthening Multi-Stakeholder Partnerships: Towards a Transformative Change.'



The forums feature key sessions such as the Indonesia-Africa Joint Leaders Session, the HLF MSP 2024, and a High-Level Plenary Session.



Additionally, there are 12 parallel events and 17 side events scheduled until September 3, 2024.



Discussions will cover various topics related to sustainable development, including strategies for enhancing cross-sector and cross-country collaboration to address global challenges.



HLF MSP 2024 in Bali aims to be a platform for promoting policy dialogue and strengthening global commitment to sustainable development.



With the participation of diverse stakeholders from around the world, Indonesia seeks to play a pivotal role in driving more inclusive and sustainable transformation on a global scale.
