Jakarta (ANTARA) - Renowned celebrity and businessman Raffi Ahmad said on Tuesday that President-elect Prabowo Subianto has asked him to join his Cabinet as an aide and deal with matters related to youth, creative work, and artists.

"I will help him with matters that match my expertise, such as the young generations, creative agencies, and art workers," he told the media after meeting with Prabowo at the latter's residence in Jakarta.

However, Ahmad did not divulge the Cabinet position Prabowo has entrusted him with, saying that the President-elect will make the decision public himself.

He then admitted to signing an integrity pact earlier to become a state official.

Ahmad arrived at Prabowo's residence on Kertanegara Street, South Jakarta, around 4 p.m. local time on Tuesday.

The incoming head of state summoned dozens of figures nominated for deputy ministerial and agency head posts the same day.

Dressed in brown batik, Ahmad greeted reporters waiting for Prabowo's guests outside the gate of his private residence.

Earlier, Gerindra Party Executive Chair Sufmi Dasco Ahmad informed that the number of figures summoned to Prabowo's home on Tuesday would exceed the figure on Monday.

"I have not counted the number. However, since there are one or two figures nominated in one ministry, there will be a lot," he said.

Besides Ahmad, Prabowo also summoned Communication and Informatics Minister Budi Arie Setiadi, Deputy State-Owned Enterprises Minister Kartika Wirjoatmodjo, Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister Pahala Mansury, Indonesian Ambassador to the UN, Arrmanatha Nasir, and badminton legend Taufik Hidayat, among others.

On Monday, Prabowo discussed ministerial posts with 49 candidates.
