Jakarta (ANTARA) - The newly elected Chief Justice of the Supreme Court (MA), Sunarto, on Wednesday outlined four programs that he will implement in the first 100 days of his term (2024–2029).

While delivering a speech after his election at the MA building here, Sunarto said that he will give MA justices the authority to disseminate the court's policies, regulations, and technical findings.

In addition, he will provide guidance to judges and court apparatus at the Court of First Instance and the Court of Appeal levels.

"And bridge aspirations, supervise and follow up on problems found in the regions to the Supreme Court leadership," he said.

Second, Sunarto promised to give MA justices the authority to choose, foster, and supervise the apparatus in their court. That way, the apparatus and staff will be the full responsibility of the MA judges.
