As cited from his secretariat's statement here on Friday, Prabowo joined the forum, which brought together 19 leaders of British companies to the Lancaster House in London.
The Indonesian head of state remarked that the investment commitments he secured demonstrate British firms' confidence in Indonesia's economy.
He said the tour he took to Brazil, the United States, and China earlier had contributed to improving Indonesia's image in the eyes of global investors.
Furthermore, the president attributed the positive trend to the Indonesian government's commitment to clean and efficient governance.
Also present at the forum, Indonesian Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati noted that the participating British CEOs expressed strong interest in the investment opportunities in Indonesia's vital sectors, including energy, infrastructure, education, and health.

She stated that the business actors drew special attention to Indonesia's education quality, highlighting science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and health.
"Many of them were surprised, in a positive connotation, by Mr. President's explanation about our firm commitment to clean and efficient governance," the state treasurer highlighted.
Meanwhile, Indonesian Investment and Downstreaming Minister Rosan Roeslani observed that Indonesia's political and economic stability, as well as peaceful power transition, had also played a role in improving investors' trust in the country.
He added that the Indonesian government would arrange a follow-up meeting with companies that expressed their keenness to invest.
Indonesian Foreign Affairs Minister Sugiono, Finance Deputy Minister Thomas Djiwandono, Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, and Deputy Speaker of Commission I of the House of Representatives (DPR) Budi Djiwandono also accompanied President Prabowo to the business forum.
