Denpasar (ANTARA) - The National Armed Forces of Indonesia (TNI) prepared a wide range of vehicles, including warships, aircraft, and helicopters, to support the implementation of security measures during the Christmas 2024 and New Year 2025 holidays.

"For sea transport, we have readied five vessels in Jakarta, Semarang, and Surabaya. To cater to airspace security, we have prepared Boeing 737 planes, three Hercules and Casa CN A-2909 aircraft, and several helicopters," TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto stated.

"With the aim of supporting security measures during the Christmas and New Year holidays, the TNI has readied a total of 80,856 personnel stationed in regions across Indonesia. We will also dispatch land, sea, and air transport for this cause," the general stated.
