Aryo Djojohadikusumo, Chairman of the Equestrian Sports Association of Indonesia (Pordasi), hailed this victory as a testament to the burgeoning popularity and skill within the nation's horseback archery scene.
"Pordasi remains committed to supporting and empowering Indonesian equestrian athletes as they compete on the international stage," Djojohadikusumo affirmed in an official statement released on Sunday.
The Indonesian contingent at the competition comprised Sultan Shadiq, Rakha Ikram Taufik, Gildan Zavera, M.Ikhwan, Tutur Wicaksono, Muhammad Khoza Arif, and Adhitya Roza.
Sultan Shadiq secured the top spot, while Rakha Ikram Taufik earned third place, and Fathurahman Aulia Ibrahim rounded out the top five.
Deri Asta, Chairman of the Pordasi Horseback Archery Commission, described Indonesia's triumph in Malaysia as a "sweet reward" to cap off the year.
"This achievement is a source of immense pride for all horseback archery enthusiasts and the Indonesian people," he declared.
Sultan Shadiq expressed his sincere gratitude for Pordasi's unwavering support of the athletes who competed in Malaysia.
"This victory is a gift for Indonesia and Pordasi. I wholeheartedly hope that the horseback archery commission continues to thrive and provide invaluable support to all Indonesian athletes," Shadiq remarked.
"With this victory as a springboard, I eagerly anticipate continued support from Pordasi in future international championships," Taufik added.
