Riza said an aerotropolis has the potential to significantly stimulate various sectors, particularly cargo and logistics while fostering the emergence of new business clusters.
He further emphasized that such a development would enhance the mobility of goods and people, attract investors, and drive continuous economic growth.
Reliable infrastructure, including robust water and electricity supply, is crucial and must be a cornerstone of the development plan, Minister Riza added.
IAS President Director, Dendi Tegar Danianto, highlighted the company's five-year track record of successful collaboration with the government in logistics and cargo services.
With a network of nine air cargo hubs and 39 cargo terminals across Indonesia, IAS, SOE holding company overseeing the aviation and tourism sectors in Indonesia, plays a vital role in facilitating both domestic and international trade, he claimed.
